HELP Dating a OR120 90's reissue: Matamp or not?

Post by XLG » Mon Feb 25, 2013 9:12 pm

Hi there OrangeHeads!

The past summer I bought this OR120 for 800€ (1.044$ ) and I'm very happy with the little beast! It roars and roars and roars...It's in a very good shape as you can see in the pictures, I think it was a great deal!

The serial number is "999" (Even the number is beautiful!) I know it's the reissue model that Orange started releasing in 1994, and I wonder if maybe it is made by Matamp or not I hope you guys can help me!

Thanks!

Get a picture of the circuit board. I think the writing on it will answer your question for you...

+1. But don't touch anything there under the chassis - even if it isn't plugged in!

It would be good to see the guts of this thing to find out where the previous owner put your HT fuse holder when attaching that unnecessary standby switch.

Well spotted... yikes - that's a scary notion, huh?

I also just noticed that it has feet and not rails...
