Hello,

i would like to know how to read the serial number.
For the head for example, the end is 0309. Does it mean that the amp was made in march 2009 as i think?
This month my guarantee is out of time, and i ask my self if i've not a problem with the volume drop between clean and dirty :(...so i will probably bring it to a good tech to check it out, and he ask me when the amp was made, that's why i want to know if my idea about the serial n° is good
Thank you.

Hi jerem37. Yes, you have it right, MMYY (Month and Year).

This isn't the tech forum, but I'll just quickly say that the R.30s 'Natural' channel doesn't normally go as loud as the 'Dirty' one - the Natural channel is very low gain and that is pretty normal. Did you ever try using a clean boost (eg something like an MXR Micro Amp) to boost the input signal. You should get more clean volume with that channel that way. Of course if the volume drop thing is new than maybe there is a problem...

Seeing as this is strictly a serial numbers thread if you want more advice on this please start a new topic on the Technical forum!
