Have a 4x12 Cab it's pretty damn old with a very low serial number. I've dated it as accuratly as possible but if there is an expert out there with better knowledge than me, then feel free to mail and correct me on any of my description.

All I can say is that it's not from the sixties. It might be a very early Orange cab though, around '72-'73??
OMI ltd launched in 1972.

Well, Orange used Celestion 30's up til they closed for the 70's in 1978...

My advice to you is, write down the date codes on the three 30 watt Celestions and we can help you look them up. The cab will be just slightly newer than the newest Celestion!

I think it could be mid-to-later 70's. I have a cab with a newer serial number than that, but I can't date it since it came with Eminence speakers...
My serial number is 2065... so dating yours will help me get a better idea of the age of mine!

Billy's guess is probably more correct than mine. When i think of it I don't think Orange would have built over 1800 cabs in the first two years of their existance..
