Any idea about this?

Maybe someone can help you date your Orange Amplifier?

Got given an amp/pa today and when i put the name into gooogle in order to find out about it i got directed here. anyway, the only branding on it is OMEC and i was under the impression that orange amps were orange.

so is this made by Orange or is it just something with a similar branding

thanks in advance

Hi inahat.

Don't know the amp or anything about it. But yes the logo does look like it was an 'Orange Musical and Electronic Corporation' product, so linked in some way to 'Orange'.

There is supposed to be a book about the history of Orange coming out sometime soon (ish) which will possibly have some more details. (It was supposed to be out at the 2008 NAMM exhibition, but... ;))
