I have just aquired a pair of 4x12 orange cabs with original covers. Am new to the world of orange and would like to find out as much info as possible.

Unfortunately, serial numbers don't mean a lot. It's easier to ID by cosmetics and if it's loaded with Celestions, write down the codes on the speakers and we can help you find a resource to look them up.
