I've just bought an used Orange OR120 with the fitting cab. Now I'd like to know what kind of cab this is, because there's no model no. on it, and I didn't find anything on orangefg.com. It looks a bit huge for a 4x10", but it sounds like a 4x10". So, I just don't know.

The manual of the OR120 looks just like the manual posted off the '78 OR80. On the back of the cab there's only the adress of the manufactor, a small sign saying "7.5 Ohm" and the seriel no. 8474. Any ideas?

Here's a pic of the cab's frontside:

Thanks in advance

Actually, it IS on www.orangefg.com Look at Series 2 heads and you'll see the cab there. It's a 4x12 although I didn't know they were a 7.5 ohm cab- that sounds weird...

That's from 1978-79 ish.

thanks a lot. but are you sure about that?
and this 7.5 ohm thing does sound weird indeed...I've got the head switched to 8 Ohm, that'll work, right?

the amp sounds great, no problems with that, but I'm confused about a 4x12 sold as a bass amp.
thanks for the info anyways

My mate used to have that exact same cab. He used it as a guitar cab for years as we believed it was one.
