i have an or80 combo w/ serial #80058r-thers also 0a2474 on the backpanel,an or80 w. serial# 11627-and 5463 on the backpanel-and last but not least a 4x12 w/ 2164 as a serial#-it says 15ohms as well -can this be right?thanks guys!

Hi saltywalt.

Often the best general guide is cosmetics, ie have the amp front panels pics only, (big pictures only for each control), or pics and text (smaller pics and written control functions.

So your head looks to be 1974. Don't know about the combo. Perhaps it is a '90s reissue? You can tell by checking here:

15 ohms for the cab will be right enough. Many older cabs (and speakers) were rated at 15 ohms. Treat as 16 ohms.

Sorry, don't know about the cab dates. Best bet would be to check codes on the speakers frames / cones themselves. If original they'll at least give you a clue.

thanks andy-the combo i have looks exactly like the one from the first link ya gave me-definitely from the 70s:)ive been runnin that cab on 8 ohms.....oopsmaybe will open it up and check out the wiring and speakers-i know that two are the og square orange speakers and the other two are peavy....but the cab is the old style huge and loud!i need to post some pics!!!
