4x12 Cabinet

Hello!

I own a 4x12, 300W, 16Ohm Cabinet. It's supposed to be a quite old one, but the serial number is gone. How can I tell it apart from a new cabinet?

I would have thought the only other way is by the speakers, i would imagine they would be Celestion.
If so then from the chassis of the speaker, there is a code.
Then just go on to:
http://professional.celestion.com/secre ... codes.html
And find the date of production, and that will give you a round about age of your cab.
