12ax7,12at7 or 12au7 ???

Hello everybody!
I have a little problem with the second channel
of my new AD30TC Combo I think it's too hot
so my question is can I put a 12at7 or 12au7
to calm it down and where should I put it, the gainstage or
as phaseinverter<img src=icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle>

I put 12at7's in both positions and it does cool the channel down.
