hey board,

i have a reissue orange od80 that i bought with a blown OT. I replaced it right when i got it about a year ago with a 1974 marshall jmp super lead (100w). dont worry, ive been treating it well and halving the impedence!

anyways, im looking for a good replacement since i need to sell it... the marshall doesnt fit in very well unless i leave a c-clamp on it (and people wont like THAT when i try to sell it...). although it works like gold (and even sounds a bit better than the original), i need to get something that will fit perfect. i know these are my ptions.. sort of:

mercury magnetics- heard you cant beat it... but for $250 id almost be better off leaving the marshall in it

ruby tubes- have yet to find a ruby tubes "orange" replacement even though the geartjacobs field guide says they carry one.

what do you guys reccomend?!

thanks!
chris
