right ive got and ad30htc and PPC412. and i want to start playing bass. okay i believe that i could run a bass through ad30htc but not the PPC412. so i was thinking (i dont know much about the physics of bass amps) could i get a OBC115 and run this from the ad30htc. would this work alright, i wouldnt need it to fill up a concert hall or anything like that (just garage/ small venue). also what would happen if i used both PPC412 and OBC115 to play my guitar through. (i know that some people use bass amps if they detune their guitar down) would the "bassier" sounds of my guitar come through more?
Also what do the different types of speakers mean?
i.e. "4 X 150 watt - 10" / 1 X 600 watt HF Horn"
what is an HF Horn?
As you can tell i really dont know to much about the physics of it all. i just know what i like (that why i choose the orange for my guitar amp)
i would be v greatfull for a few answers

The HF horn is a speaker that well, is shaped like a horn and covers the high frequencies coming from your amp. I don't know if I would use a 30W amp to play bass through. Bass amps generally need to be more powerful because it takes a lot of power to make the speakers push as much air as bass amps need. 30W MIGHT work for a garage, but would probably be too quiet for anything bigger than that. I don't know if the vintage 30's in the orange 4X12" can handle bass. The 15" cab would do a very nice job. Sometimes I play my guitar through an old Kustom 250 stack with 2 15" speakers and it can sound downright glassy. There is no HF horn in the cab. My guess is that an AD30HTC with a 4x12 and 1x15 would sound great for guitar.

In my opinion, I think that can't be loud enough.
I use a AD200B, and take gain an volume to 12 o'clock.

With 30 Watts, you just can't reach that, even not with crankin' the amp totally open. I want to hear somebody who tried it, but I don't believe in it.

Bass need WATT's ...
Or you better buy a guitar :)
