I'm wondering about how cabs are constructed. Not the wooden or tolex bits, but electrically. So, when you plug in your head, does a wire run straight from the socket to the two speakers, or is there some form of amplification occurring? I personally don't think so myself, but I'm not sure about it...

Reason I'm asking is because I can't choose between the V30 and the greenback, so maybe if I get an AD15, I can keep the V30 and make myself a 1x12 with a Greenback in, or even a 2x12 with a V30 and a Greenback.

Just what I wanted to know! Thanks

Reason I was in doubt was because I read somewhere that someone had a Marshall 4x12 and said it was "a PCB"... Still haven)t got the foggiest what he was talking about, but if he's happy...
