Daek Terror Effects Loop Tube

I have a Jan-Phillips 12at7 powering the effects loop of my Dark Terror. About how long would a new tube for that slot last? Does it get as much stress as a preamp tube and what would be a sign that it should be replaced?

Really no good answer, but I would hope a long time. I have tubes that are still good after many years….I’ve had tubes that lasted a couple weeks…
I think its good practice to have a spare and if you question it you can always swap it in to see if there is any change in the quality of the effects loop signal. I’m not a big fan of tube effects loops, but thats another thing.
