AD30 & AD30HTC

Quick & easy question for those who know. Are one of the channels on the AD30HTC the same channel/circuit as the single channel AD30?

Pretty close. I think there are some differences but for all practical purposes, they are very similar. The second channel of the AD30TC is slightly hotter.

Thanks. I did search this before I posted and found that it was probably about the same but I was wondering if there had ever been comparing of the circuit.

Theres slight differences in the schematics. Each channel on the TC is a little different than the single channel, but subtle. Different value capacitor here and there.

I see, thanks. I was asking because I have always been interested in the dual channel, but was thinking that if jimmy page uses the single channel, that might be the one to get. But I do like having two channels. I don’t know, I don’t need another amp anyway

Merry Christmas! I saw an old friend recently and he might want to sell his dual channel ad30. Probably be the best price on one I’ll ever see.
