Fellow Heshers, I beseech you to aid me in bringing back my DD100 to all it glory? Something is remiss in riffland and I beg of you to assist? terrible scratchy noise and massive volume drops. i’ve deleted all pedals, and tried new cords, etc

Or can you direct me to the best Orange tech on the east coast? I’m in Northeastern PA.

I can only tell you who I would bring it to in Boston...

You must likely need new power valves.

You would still need a tech as the amp would need biasing after a new set of valves.

bought a matched set of el34 2s from eurotubes, a bias probe, and another probe for plate voltage from a guy on Reverb.

then i did lots research, and some math...

now I know how to retube and bias a dual dark 100...
