Micro Dark is too loud for headphones.

I just bought new Micro Dark, and it is too loud for headphones with full gain, i cant turn volume up at all, andmy headphones start clipping and crackling, even at lowest setting. I assume that is not normal?

Turn down the gain until it doesn't do it.

But i need my gain!
Maybe in just need better headphones, and some kind of a volume control with them.
