In the studio and channel switching on my Rockerverb MKii suddenly stopped working. Granted the amp has been running 10 hours, but it was super random. Channel switching is happening via musiccom efx mkiii. Reset everything and it just won’t work. Tried an old school switch and it worked for a bit. Multiple cables and same results. Hoping it works tomorrow, but any ideas? Back in the studio and not looking to spend time troubleshooting it.
Thanks!

Re: Channel switching stopped working
Does the panel switch work?
If not, a chip or a relay or a solder joint in the switching circuit has probably gone bad. Tech time.
If the panel switch works, then it's something with the jack. There's a contact in the jack that overrides the panel switch -- if it gets dirty/oxidized the amp doesn't "know" you've connected a footswitch.
Try spraying contact cleaner (Deoxit or similar) in the jack, then insert/remove a plug several times rapidly. Might get it working again.
If not, a contact in the jack has broken/bent, or a solder joint for the jack has failed.

Also, bear in mind that the footswitch only work when the faceplate button is on either the dirty or clean channel.... I can't remember which it is, but it only works for one and not on the other.
Something to bear in mind to, the relays need to see a minimum voltage to work correctly. If the wall voltage dropped for a period, it may cause the relays to stop operating correctly.
Try a footswitch for the reverb - if that works but the clean dirty footswitch doesn't, you'll know that wall voltage isn't the issue.

Well, just guessing that if it's been 11 days and he hasn't checked in, he must have got it working.
