Taking off a switch, Help!

Post by Jelly » Sun May 19, 2019 1:58 am

Some time ago, I snapped off the channel selection switch on my orange AD30HTC. I just recently got a new switch to replace it but I don't know how to take out the old one. I have my amp opened up, I just can't seem to figure out how to take out the switch without scratching everything up, the nut (or whatever it is) on the face of the amp is very tight.
Any and all help is extremely appreciated! Thank You!

If you’re worried about scratching the faceplate, put some masking tape around the area. Pair of pliers and a rubber band around the nut if you’re worried about marring it.
