6v6 amps question

GJ's amp wish thread got me thinking... Call me ignorant or something but I've really rarely seen amps with my favourite tube 6v6 with more than one (mine) or two of them in it.
Why is it that no one makes amps with four, six or eight of them in it for the power section? I know about the Orange Rockerverb 50 with four of them but it's the only one that comes to mind.
