Greetings fellow Orangers

I got a Bax Bangeetar used. I know this is a somewhat custom pedal and the documentation is light but I am experiencing strange behavior and I don't know if its by design:

When I hook up the pedal using the "OUT" jack, everything seems to work correctly. I have full control over volume, eq, gain, I can do mid filter sweeps to demonstrate it is working.

When I hook up the pedal using "CAB SIM OUT" --- the only knob that works is GAIN.
Volume does nothing
Can't do mid filter sweeps, EQ seems to do nothing

Is my pedal busted? Or does CAB SIM turn off some controls? (I would think NOT)

I've opened a ticket with ORANGE USA but no response yet.
Any guidance here is welcome. Cheers

That is a clear fault, and a strange one. The only difference should be the tonality of the two outputs, everything else should work (simultaneously) on both outputs.
