My OR15 has the same volume at both wattage settings. This can’t be normal right?

How high is your volume set
Edit: looking at your other topic involving the overdrive pedal, possible your tubes are dying.

The volume difference between wattage settings can be difficult to discern.

Thanks for the response. I bought it used so I was worried the tubes may be bad. I have read so many posts online about how well this amp takes drive pedals and that has not been my experience so far. I think I’ll try a tube swap and see if that helps.

There really isn't much of a volume change unless you have it quite clean and at high volume. There is much more of a difference in headroom and in how it feels to play.

As per the previous response though, it does seem likely that there may be a valve problem so it might be best to try new valves before doing anything else.

It's the power valves that are the most likely suspect but it could also be one or more pre-amp valves...
