speaker replacement

I have replace one of the Celestion V30's in my 4x12 cab. I have a brand new replacement waiting to go in. Would it be better to use the played in celestion from my Rocker 30 to go into the cab? And then the brand new speaker into the Rocker? Or is it all mumbo jumbo snake oil paranoia about using new speakers with broken in ones already in the cab?

I'd say it's safe. You're cab might sound a tad different until the new speaker breaks in.

I agree, the new one might be a bit brighter but give it a few hours you will hardly notice.
