or 15 head to cabs

Having recently acquired one of these heads I was wondering if I could use it with 2 cabinets which have one 8 ohm speaker in each cab. Only one speaker connection on the cab. Can they each be connected to the two 8 ohm sockets on the back of the amp? Or is this only for two 16 ohm cabinets which total 8 ohms parallel?

You shouldn't do it.
One 16 Ohm cab/speaker to the 16 Ohm output.
One 8 Ohm cab /speaker to one of the 8 Ohm outputs.
Two 16 Ohm cab / speakers to both of the 8 Ohm outputs.
Now many other amp manufacturers seem quite happy for folk to miss match. Orange don't. I've not tried it. You may choose o try two 8 Ohm cabs (Giving effectively 4 Ohms). The risk is a damaged output transformer.

If you daisychain two 8 ohm cabs you will get a 4 ohm total load which won't work.

You need a "series cable" to connect the two 8 ohm cabinets in series which should be plugged into the 16 ohm output on the amp.
