Rocker 15 combo fuzzy dirt channel

Just picked up a new Rocker 15 combo. I definitely like it, just want to get the fuzz out of the dirty channel.

Can anyone recommend a different speaker, 10 inch, and different tubes pre and power to help smooth out the distortion. It’s livable, would just be nice to get it where I want it. The bedroom Watts is what helped sell the amp.

Thanks!!!

You might have bought the wrong amp.

it's meant to be fuzzy, in a classic rock way.

You can certainly buy another speaker, and mosy Celestion G10 vintage or others would improve it, but will not change the character of the amp.

What do you play?

Mix of classic rock, hard rock.

I played a couple of these in stores before buying. They didn’t seem to have as much fuzz. I dunno. Maybe I’m being too particular. I get that way haha

A catalinbread Naga viper treble booster pedal is a revelation in front of the rocker drive channel. It tightens everything up and makes the top end shine, check it out.

try an overdrive pedal with little to no gain in front of the amp.. the OCD is a pedal which is very commonly recommended to go with Orange amps
