OR15 No Sound

Hey everyone, I am new to tube amp ownership and I love the OR15 I purchased used a few months back however after playing the other day I turned it off and when I went to turn it back on the next day I was getting no sound when I plugged the guitar in. I posted on a facebook forum and they suggested I try to replace the fuse next to the power plug (it was brownish). I replaced that fuse and am still not getting any sound out of the amp. When I look at the tubes they appear to be glowing but I feel like they may be dimmer than usual (not sure). I am getting no sound at all. I have checked the speaker cable as well as the guitar cable and both work fine on my other amp which I hate and replaced with this one. Please help!

Have you replaced the EL84 with a new set?

Check the fuse again. If it is blown again, there is a problem with the amp that is making the fuse blow. Most likely a bad tube.

I have the same problem. Although, I have yet to change my fuse. Apparently I need to order one online. It’s a t250mA. My question is that the fuse looks fine, with an intact filament. Can a fuse be bad if it looks good? If the fuse isn’t the problem, what is?

Fuses can look fine yet be blown. Always better to err on the side of just replacing them...

Yes, I've had a fuse looking fine, but when checked with a multimeter, it was dead.

Unless you can measure continuity with a multimeter, you cannot be sure.
