Rocker 32 - pilot light flickers, never bright

Hello all,

My Rocker 32 power/standby light:
- comes on gradually to about half-bright
- flickers continuously
- occasionally goes off for a split second
in all channel and wattage settings, and in both standby and play mode.

Is this a known issue?
Is there a known fix?

Thanks in advance.

Should have zero effect on sound. Different circuitry.

Is it a screw-in bulb? Could just be loose. If it really bothers you, you could take it to a tech or if it works otherwise, learn to live with it. My 70's OR80M doesn't light up for about 10 minutes after I turn it on....

With the amp off and unplugged, unscrew the jewel light lens, tighten the bulb, and put the lens back on. That should solve the problem.

Thanks for the tips.
I cannot say enough good things about this amp... but I shall try - in a mini review.

The power light is powered by the valve heater circuit, so power is going through that continously or you would hear it.

As mentioned, try tightening the light bulb - if that fails, replace it. If either of those haven't worked, you haven't invalidated the warranty, so make it work.
