Boss gt-10/gt-100 channel switching

I just want to let everyone know these boss multi effects work for channel switching. You just have to turn the amp control on. The 4 cable method will not work though, you gotta directly plug into the boss then into the amp.
With the effects loop, there is a huge volume drop and its not worth the effort needed to make it sound alright. Just run all effects in front of the amp. If you really need something in the effects loop buy the actual pedal and run it in the effects loop.
I just picked up a boss-gt10 for $200 canadian. Very happy with the quality and build of the product and they work great on orange amps. mine going into a TH30. Im very happy with my set up now
