cab change 50 watts to 100 watts

cab change 50 watts to 100 watts
i have a 70's 4x12 that is set @ 8 ohms 50 watts, and i need the speakers wired for 8 ohms @ 100 watts. i am using a marshall 100 watt valve stat head and dont want to blow my cabnet. please help so i can get to making noise as soon as possible if anybody can even e-mail me a wiring diagram that would be cool.

Where are you getting that information? As far as I know, no 70's Marshall 4X12 cabinet is rated at less than 100 watts.
Open up the cabinet and see what kind of speakers are in it.

You can’t change the wattage by re-wiring. But like Billy says, check out your speakers first.

Let me add to my post.
Marshall cabinets from the 70's are wired for 16 ohms, not 8 ohms. They have a quartet of Celestion speakers, each speaker is rated at 16 ohm and the wiring is series/parallel. Google that for wiring options, but basically, you can't rewire the cab for anything that you're looking for - unless you change all four speakers to 8 ohm speakers and wire it the same for a total 8 ohm load.
Even the oldest 70's Marshall cabs would have had 25 watt Celestion greenbacks, which makes for a 100 watt capacity.
