Thunderverb 200 to PPC412

Hello,
Just a quick question. Am using a TV200 into a PPC412 at 100w 16 ohm and it sounds great.
If I wanted to run at 200w to trial different sounds this creates creates an impedance mismatch - 8 ohm amp to 16 ohm cab.
Is there any risk to the amp’s transformerss doing this? Most literature says this type of mismatch is safe.
I would not run the attenuators above half anyway so am assuming speakers will be fine.
