Kongpressor, normal or malfunction

Post by Gez » Fri Mar 16, 2018 2:17 pm

Hi there, Just bought the Orange compressor pedal which sounds lovely. Been trying to contact the manufacturer with no joy so maybe someone here can help. Is it usual for it to get louder when you turn up the squash ? Any other comp pedal I've used gets quieter the more you compress which you then use the make up gain to bring back to unity whereas this seems to do the opposite.

Ok. It's going back then.
Technical support has been disappointing to say the least.

This forum isn’t really a support forum from Orange itself. Mostly just users of Orange, and of the ones that frequent the technical page, not sure many have the Kongpressor to know whats normal with it. Wish I could help, but I have no experience with the pedal.

I had one for a short time, and can't remember if the squash control increased the volume or not. If it did, it was pretty minimal in a compressor sort of way.

Not an issue in any case, as there's a volume knob to adjust the volume as required.

And as mentioned by jondog, this isn't a support forum, but users talking gear rather.
