Hi Everyone.

I recently moved from the UK to Canada. I brought my MKII rockerverb which me but I want to check it will be safe to use before I plug it in.

The amp is from the UK originally and the voltage selector switch can be set to either 230 or 220 volts.

Will I need to change any fuses or anything like that before using my amp in Canada on a 120v 60hz supply?

Thanks for any help.

Jack

You need to have the transformer rewired for proper voltages n the amp. The mains fuse needs to be 6.3 amps

Yes, as Jondog said, the existing transformer needs to be rewired- shouldn't be too difficult or expensive, your tech only needs to move 2 wires from their existing taps to different taps.
