12” VOTW speaker, let’s solve the mystery of what it really is!

Ok so I swapped one out for a v30 and I weighed it in at 9.8lbs. No celestion speakers that I know of weight 9.8 lbs.
What other specs do we know about it?
It’s 60w.
The magnet weight probably around 40oz
( it’s 9.6oz less than a v30 which is a 50oz magnet)

I'd be very surprised if it were a Celestion. It's a budget speaker they custom order from someone, likely someone who manufacturers them close to where the cabs are made (Ie. not in the UK).

If you have a speaker, you can see if there are any markings on the cone, the frame, of the magnet that provide any information.

No real markings there was a c1309 in the speaker magnet. It looks like a warehouse veteran 30, same cone colour and casing colour. Yellow coils on the front of the magnet just like a veteran 30 too. Specs are pretty close too.
Says 10lbs weight, I weighed it in at 9.8lbs
Maybe they round up to 10

You have to host photos elsewhere and embed them. Facebook works if you set it to public....

Actually I’ve alway thought they were OEM Celestions. Sound very decent anyway IMO, whatever they are.
