Dark Terror Hum/Noise

Hey guys,
I recently got a brand new Dark Terror. I'm really loving this amp. It seems to have some hum/buzz even when the volume is the whole way down. After reading previous threads, I replaced the 12at7 tube for the effects loop. It didn't seem to make much of a difference. I swapped other power tubes and switched out 12ax7's, etc. Didn't seem to change anything. Is this amp just that noisy? Its not a deal breaker, but definitely hums and is louder than my mini rectifier.
One more thing, the amp "pops" when I put it back to standby mode sometimes. Is that normal and/or does that help add any clues to my problems? Thanks guys!
