Cr120 ,cr60 home use

Post by Ay747 » Mon Aug 28, 2017 7:11 pm

Hi, sorry if this subject has been covered many times but I'm considering buying either a cr120h or cr60c but I will mostly be using it at home. Currently using a micro dark through a ppc112 so I'd like to know if either crush pro amp is OK for home use at low volumes. No local dealers have either in stock currently so I've been unable to try for myself.

I have a CR60 and am extremely pleased with it for home/late night don't annoy the neighbours playing. In fact that's all I use it for. Awesome, simple amp and very versatile.

I also use a Micro Dark with a 1 X 12" V30 cab. Also great for home use but not as versatile as the CR60.

They are solid state so yes they sound really good for low volume at home play. I only wish they had a headphone jack for late night play and I'd buy one myself.

Thanks for the replies, didn't need my arm twisting too far to buy one but you've convinced me to go for one

A little late to the party. But either works at low volume. I run the head version through a 2x12 and it sounds good real low. Just keep the master low amd use the channel volume to brong it further down and it works good. All it misses it the feel of the speakers pushing air.

Either will be fine, just getbthe one that suits your power needs. If you plan on gigging in a loud rock band some day, the 120 will be best. But softer rock and mellow music the 60 would be fine.
