TH30 problem

Hi everyone. I have had my TH30 for two years and about 6 months ago when switching the standby onto clean channel, I experienced a static noise and also lost sound volume and tone disappearing. I took it to an engineer and at a cost of £70 he said he had to replace the clean volume pot. Also I bought and replaced all the valves. I went on a gig last night and the same thing happened again. I changed the leads but it did the same. I switched the channel switch to dirty but as I switched I was getting the static noise again but as I switched it back to clean it came back to full sound before the switch was hard over, then it dropped off when the clean was in full position. Any Ideas?

I would get at least one new pre-amp valve and go through each one to see if its any of those

unfortunately tubes are pretty unreliable especially in the beginning of their lives try this first

before going back to a tech
