Hi! I've got an ad200ba in the second hand market . It is in mint condition, but the courier mistreated it at some point of its shipping and one of the four 6550 tubes is broken. I'll need to replace the entire set, I'm afraid. Please, could somebody tell me what 6550 do you recommend to respect the original sound of this amp?
Thanks in advance

Re: Recommended tubes for an AD200ba MK-III
I recently had mine retubed with Sovtek 6550WE. It had been fairly mistreated before I got it so I can't speak for the sound beforehand but I am loving it since the retube.
The Sovteks have a bit of a mid bump when pushed which is great for the style I am going for, ballsy but cuts through when you dig in. Also sounds great with overdrive.
