Hi,
I have this problem.
I have bought this gear For play in my home to small volume:
Orange Head OR15
Orange Cabinet PCC112 16ohm
Orange Pedal Two Stroke
Orange Pedal BaxBangeetar
I have tried to connect the gear in that way:
Guitar - or15 -> fxloop out - two stroke - baxbangeetar -> fxloop in - cabinet (in one of the two input)
But the baxbangeetar give un incredible gain and volume that i can't play in this way.
I wanted to use the baxbangeetar as a distortion/overdrive pedal to turn on or turn off while i play a song, but the huge gain make this impossible.
The cabinet pcc112 has two input...
I ask to you if this connection is possible:
GUITAR - Pedal switch A/B -
Cannel A: BaxBangeetar - Cabinet Pcc112 in one input
Cannel B: Head or15 - two stroke - Cabinet Pcc112 in other input
In this way the cannel A is a pure baxbangeetar tone and the cannel B is a pure or15 vintage tone.
If it is possible...
I must connect the baxbangeetar to the first input of the cabinet with the CABSIM output?
I must connect the Or15 to the second input of the cabinet with 8 or 16 ohm output?
I don't want damage the Gear...
Many thanks!
Or15 and BaxBangeetar

Re: Or15 and BaxBangeetar
Obviusly in the cannel A i must add a final of power pedal before the cabinet...

Re: Or15 and BaxBangeetar
Let me see if I can help.
Try this: Don't use the effects loop. Guitar > Two Stroke > Bax > OR15 or Guitar > Bax > Two Stroke > OR15
I don't think these pedals are really designed for effects loop operation - I think they'll work best going into the front of the amp.
I'm not clear what you asked but never put anything between the amp OR15 and speaker cabinet.

Re: Or15 and BaxBangeetar
You definitely can't do this.GUITAR - Pedal switch A/B -
Cannel A: BaxBangeetar - Cabinet Pcc112 in one input
Cannel B: Head or15 - two stroke - Cabinet Pcc112 in other input
Firstly, you should never plug two sources into the same cabinet!
The only time you should have two leads plugged into one cabinet is when one lead goes to the amplifier and the other lead goes to another speaker cabinet, called 'daisy chaining'.
The BaxBangeetar, athough is has a lot of gain, doesn't have enough power to drive a speaker. The 'cabsim' output is for when you don't want to use guitar amp at all and you use the output to go into a mixing desk for recording directly.
Have you tried turning the 'boost' off on the BaxBangeetar, and turning it on and off using the 'bypass' switch? This should give you less output.
Cheers,
Jon
