Speaker output on OR50
Hey everyone, new here so hope this isn't silly question. I have a OR50 amp head with celestion v30's in a 4 speaker cab. Was wondering which output option is the appropriate on the amp head: The 1 x 16ohm, 2 x 16ohm or the 1 x 8 ohm....Im thinking the 2 x 16ohm but I not that bright when it comes to this stuff as I dont know the specifics. If anyone can help I'd be very appreciative. Thanks in advance.

Re: Speaker output on OR50
It depends on the ohmage of the cabinet. Typically, a 4 speaker cab is 16 ohms so you MUST use the 16 ohm output.
Re: Speaker output on OR50
The OR50 has 3 speaker outputs: one 16ohm and two 8ohm. Use the 16ohm output for a 16ohm cab or either one of the 8ohm outputs for an 8 ohm cab (or two daisy chained 16 ohm cabs). Never use both 8ohm output unless you hook up two 16 ohm cabs! The labeling is a bit confusing if you don't know what it means. The first thing you must do is to figure out which load your cab has. Good luck!

Thanks for the info. My cab has a 16ohm label on the back, so I guess that answers my question. appreciate it!
