Hello,
I have a fuse issue on my brand new Rockerverb MKIII 100 Head.
It has been 2 times that the main power fuse blew off.
Before sending back this monster to the shop, i want to make sure which fuse is the best for my amp.
Could someone tell me which one to choose between those 2 (I am using 220 V),
- T2,5A 250V in Ceramic (temporised in ceramic)
- T2,5A 250V in Glass (temporised in glass)
Or maybe i am wrong...
Thank you very much,
Fred

Do you mean the plug fuse?
Not the fuse in the amp, but the one in the plug itself?

That looks like the HT fuse, not the main power fuse which is located in the drawer on the iec socket. HT fuse looks to be rated 1.6 amps. If it keeps blowing there is an issue with the amp.

Thank you very much, but my question is which fuse is appropriate, the ceramic one or the glass one ?
i have no idea from my point of view

Either is ok. Just make sure you have the proper voltage and current rating.

You may have a case of early power valve failure. They usually get the fuse blowing when they develop issues.
I would contact your dealer and explain what has happened. They probably will want to see the amp again and the check the valves out, and possibly rebias if they swap the faulty pair.
