So now that I have an Orange CR120H and Orange Crush Pro 4x12 cabinet I remembered how 3 years ago I placed an order for a Crest logo shirt from the Orange website and I was sent the Crest logo shirt but,,,, I was sent by mistake the Crest logo badge. Being an honest person I called Orange letting them know I had received my Crest shirt but also in a separate package received the Crest logo badge the manager on the freaked out saying he would look into right away getting a return label sent to me so that I could return the Crest badge. I asked if it was that serious of a deal just knowing that it's a plastic badge and didn't seem like a big deal but that I would send it back if need be. He said yes we do not send these badges out and we don't like these badges floating around on the web for sale. I said ok and I would wait for his email with a return label. I couple days later he sent an email saying it would be to much of a pain to return it but to go ahead and keep the badge. The badge is like 3 inches by 2 inches I believe.
Anyways I'm wondering what's the deal with it? It's not the big badge found on my 4x12 cabinet and I'm wondering what this size would have been used on? And is Orange really this tight with their badges floating around?
Pic of badge included and I've never taken it out of the plastic.

No idea, but I can kind of see why they wouldn't want them floating around. Would be easy to counterfeit their cabs and pop one of these on. Neat that you have one.
Re: Orange Crest Logo badge
Yeah I have no idea what to do with it lol. I've had it now for three years lol.

Re: Orange Crest Logo badge
Well, it's an obvious made in China variety of badge so I don't think it would be of any real value....
Re: Orange Crest Logo badge
I have no idea where it would be made. It was shipped to me from the Atlanta, GA US headquarters. All I know is they made a huge big deal about it saying they didn't want these floating around and that they cost an arm and leg otherwise. Could be worth nothing or maybe could be, I have no idea lol.

Re: Orange Crest Logo badge
They aren't super common, but they're floating around here and there. It would probably be tough to find one if you needed it. I had a 4x12 cab without the crest and a forum member donated an extra one he had sitting around.
I'd keep it if you may need it some day, or pass it on (at a modest price) to someone with an old cabinet that needs it. There are plenty of old Orange cabinets around that lost their logo and crest long ago.
