I put it back together and it's great!

Both channels are identical, however I use different tubes in each channel and will mess around with different settings.

At the moment I have ECC81s in CH1 and CV4004 in CH2, with CH1 being a bit on the bright side and CH2 being heaven as a place on earth.

I do notice what sounds like PT hum on CH1, as if it's under heavier load while CH2 is dead quiet, could that be because of the different pre-amp tubes or does it warrant further investigation?

CH1 is unmodified in all aspects.
