Hi! I have a orange crush 20ldx and im wondering how the pots work ? For instance when I turn tone down to zero the volume is zero, I would expect the sound to be lacking of tone and not totally quite ? This leads me to believe the pots are active? Is this true? Another thing is that the eq also adds gain, like its changing the tonality also... is it supposed to be like this or is my amp broken?
Anybody?

Re: Orange Crush 20ldx problems
It's normal.
Orange amp's tone control bleed the particular frequency to ground. Turn it all the way down, everything going to ground, all the way up, you have the full signal.
So say you have your amp set all at noon, and then increase all your tone controls to max, you will get a column boost as you get more signal, and that extra signal will also be reflected in extra dirt.
