How to use Tiny Terror with Power Amp/slave

Post by doombuggy » Thu Sep 29, 2016 6:39 pm

I love the Tiny Terror but its not loud enough for my band / stage situation, looking for a very simple/affordable way to achieve this, suggestions on TT mods and simple power amps and how I would hook it up.
running an old 410 Marshall cab.
thanks

While a mod to have a slave out on it wouldn't be overly difficult, I'd rather trade it in for a bigger amp rather than modding and buying a power amp.

Have the venue mic your amp into the PA system, that's probably your best solution.

I'd also look into your speaker efficiency. Is your cab a guitar or bass cab? Very efficient speakers could well make thw difference. If your current 10" speaker are within 1or 2db 9f. 100db, I'd follow Jondog's advice. Perhaps looking for a dual terror or a 50w amp is more what you need.

The other option is to get something like a Badcat Unleash or Fryette Power Station. I wasn't big on the Unleash, nice features and worked well enough, but did dampen the tone a touch. Maybe not noticeable live.
