Rockerverb 50 Mkii foot switch compatibility

Post by mesa-refugee » Sun Feb 14, 2016 6:12 pm

i'm using a Line 6 Helix in my RV50 Mkii's fx loop. the Helix also allows for channel switching on guitar amps, which i'd like to take advantage of. regarding this, the Helix owners manual warns- "IMPORTANT! connect only to amplifiers that utilize "short-to-sleeve" foot switch inputs. Connecting to any other sort of input could cause permanent damage to both your amp and the Helix!"

does anyone here know if the RV50 Mkii is "short-to-sleeve" on the foot switch inputs or not?

thanks!

Orange has only one sort each of single footswitch and a dual footswitch and afaik they are universal in being tip>sleeve (single) and tip>sleeve plus ring>sleeve for the dual.. and work on pretty much all the orange amps..

Yes, it is.
You can use the channel switching feature on the Line 6 Helix.

Cheers,
Jon
