preamp in the fx-loop

This maybe a very stupid question and excuse me for my english...
But i have orange th30 whit an fx loop, can i put a preamp in the return jack of the fx loop.
What i mean is can i connect my guitar to a preamp and connect the preamp to the return of the fx loop.
And if this wil work can i (whit a split cable) hook up to the orange th30 input and the preamp and play trough the same poweramp?
Excuse me if i'm not clear but i hope this makes sense.
