simple footswitch question.

i have a rockerverb 50 mkii. i'll be damned if i'm going to pay for Orange's foot switch given what the amp cost me. anyway... when i use the channel changing footswitches from my other amps, the pedals' LED's are lit on the clean channel and off on the distortion channel. this is the total opposite of every amp i've ever owned. i have gotten used to the pedals' LED's being lit when i'm on the distortion channel, and unlit on the clean channel. so here's my simple/stupid question. is it just a matter of flip-flopping the two wires on the jack of my footswitch, thereby making the pedals' LED's come on when i'm on the distortion channel instead of the clean?
