Hey, all y'all Orange folks!
Just picked up an OR15 this past week and a PPC112 just yesterday.
Really enjoying the OR15 and PPC112 and have a couple of questions that are not addressed by either manual or posts here (that I've found.)
First off... the loop? Might be painfully apparent to those of you with experience using loops. There is no mention of the loop in the OR15 manual. Well, no mention of how to use it. One assumes the Send should be connected to the In jack of the first pedal and the Return should be connected to the Out jack of the last pedal. Correct assumption? (I'm just using one pedal and it's working, but I'd like hear it from the pros.)
And then... there are no markings on the jacks on the back of the PPC112. Why are there two jacks? Is one an extension to send signal to another chained cab? (There was no manual included in the box.) Does it matter which jack is used?
I love the OR15 and PPC112 together. What a great piece of kit. I've been on the hunt for the perfect bedroom amp and think I've found it. I can play this rig after the wife has gone toes up and get great dirt tones at whisper levels. Or, when the wife's off running errands, I can open 'er up wide open and have some fun without pissing off the neighbors. Very happy camper!
I rolled some other tubes... V1: Gold Lion 12AX7, V2: Tung Sol 12AX7, loop: Gold Lion 12AT7, PI: NOS Mullard CS4024 (Military 12AT7). Still running the stock JJ EL84's.
I really like the cleans with my '07 Gibby MM and, well, all tones with that git. Really loving this amp.
I'm an ex-drummer who plays for my own amusement. Riddem almost exclusively...

Greets langmurf and welcome to the forum...
Yep - you assume correct on the loop and the 2x sockets on the cab. You can use either of the jacks, the second one is there to daisy-chain the cab to another one. Orange manuals are a little sketchy...
I have the same set-up and like you I find low-level sounds very pleasing - but if i crank mine the neighbours in the next village can get annoyed.
I also use an MM and am strictly riddem - snap!

I haven't asked the neighbors, but you are no doubt correct; I could probably annoy them if I played "Louie, Louie" ad infinitum.
It's still o'dark thirty here, but here's a low light shot of my rig:
I will, of course, get a better shot later on today...

Haha... no way - nothing wrong with sharing the joy. The OR15 doesn't get a lot of attention round here so it's good to hear from other enthusiasts. Very capable and flexible amp once you know how to tame it - enjoy!langmurf wrote:Hope I'm not spamming y'all...
BTW - Finish on your MM seems to be standing up better than minel
