AD140 vs. AD140TC / (ptp vs. pcb)

The local guitar shop has an AD140 in stock, and I absolutely love it. However, I do not love the price of it. The AD140TC can be ordered and is considerably less expensive. Does anyone know if there are any tonal differences between the AD140 (hand-wired, single channel) and the AD140TC (pcb, dual channel)?

I think the AD140 sounds more than the old 70's models, where the AD140TC is more modern in sound...
