KT120

I saw in that thread in the community forum that the new Verellen Meatsmoke bass amp uses Tung Sol KT120 power tubes. 60W plate dissipation means a push-pull pair can put out 150W. Woah! These appear to be near drop-ins for 6550/KT88's. If they were run in an amp like the AD200, they would last a very long time since they would be run very conservatively. The biggest differences that might make this impossible appears to be that they can draw up to 300ma more filament current than a KT88 and they are 1/2" taller. I don't recall if the AD200 has that much vertical room in the chassis (it's in the band van many miles away right now, so can't measure) and I certainly don't know if it can handle the additional current draw. Do any of you guys know?
