4/12 cab and 2/12 cab

Orange 140 tc

I have a orange 2/12 and a 4/12
Can I run both of these at the same time through the orange head.

These ohms things confuse me.

here's what i heard,the second input is for running other cabs.so if your head has 16 ohms plug into that then the 1st speaker input of 4x12 then from the 2nd input on the 4x12 to the 1st input on the 2x12.i have done this with 2 orange 4x12s.im lost with impedence i think it splits my impedence between the 2 4x12s so they run at 8ohms instead of 16.so 16ohms x 2 16ohms4x12s = 8ohms each cab maybee, anyone?

These ohms things confuse me.

Match the ohms or have a greater number than the output.
eg. If it's an 8ohm out, nothing less than 8ohms, greater than 8 is safer. 16ohms needs 16 or greater

The AD140 I think has 3 outputs, one 16ohm and two 8ohms.
If your cabs are 8 or more ohms, you can plug them into the 8ohm outs.
